HADIA HENRY DAWA
Hadia received her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Juba, Khartoum in 2008. She obtained a Certificate in Non-Violence awarded by the Sudanese Organization for Nonviolence and Development.
She interned with Sharafadin Mohammed Juma Yambio and was licensed to Practice in South Sudan in 2010 and has been in active legal practice for the last 10 (ten years) before the courts of South Sudan.
Prior to joining CASE ADVOCATES, LLP, in 2013, she worked as a litigation Attorney at Lomoro & Co. Advocates from 2011-2013. Her practice areas include property law, class actions, commercial litigation and civil litigation, employment law and insurance litigation. Hadia has handled so many court cases as a Trial Attorney and Appellate Attorney over the years. Her clients are majorly from NGOs, Corporate entities and individuals.
Well versed with the legal terrain in South Sudan, Hadia is a hardworking and professional lawyer whose hard work is the attainment of her client’s objectives. She has strong knowledge in arbitration and litigation. She is a Commissioner for Oaths in the Republic of South Sudan.
In giving back part of her knowledge and skill to the community, Hadia volunteers with South Sudan Women Advocates’ Association and Justice & Huan Rights Observatory in providing pro bono legal services to women, children, the elderly and the vulnerable. Her services direct legal representation in criminal matters, rendering legal advice to local chief council, conducting trainings and public awareness rising and disseminating laws and any other relevant information to women and the public.
